ALTERED ALBUM/ JEWELLERY ORGANISER

Hello friends,
 I am sharing my post on Altered Album here.This is the first time I am trying something different without  any digital brushes!.

This pocket album measuring"3 1/2"X "5" was lying  un cared for.I used it 

to showcase

 my jewellery

It fits easily inside the vanity bag

cellophanes sheets keeps jewellery protected while travelling.

Wrapped the Album  with handmade paper,Stuck a mirror with toothpicks around the border.Used few Embellishments from LULUPU. Tried doodling over the corner and also stuck a bindi in black 

over the small mirror. for easy retrieval hehehe

Just inserted paper inside the sheet and placed bangles,which is handmade by me  long long ago.not only jewellery one can keep anything like bindis,Cards Ear phone etc.Which serves handy and easy to find when needed..Otherwise in a Ladies hand bag , one can never find which is needed urgently

I am sure  you all will agree.

Since the album has got many pages you can  pack many things inside. It does

not take much time You can create in a Jiffy,

Calender-2016

Hello friends, 
As this year is coming to an end, I would like to share a  desk top calender for  2016. created  using Adobe photoshop. which is very simple and can customise with your family photos.I

All you need for this project  is a template and frames and a few photos of your choice.

This template you can download it .

You can adjust and edit the photo to fit inside the frame by scaling and transforming tool.

Each Photo is adjusted inside the frame by pasting in a seperate layer.For easy editing naming of the layer is must. You can add layer" style" effects also.Since there are so many options  feel free to play around to see which suits best.

You can add a border around it by using photoshop brushes   or you can define a pattern and make your own set of brushes.Vast possibilities are available, one has to be  creative with a lot of patience to try  and explore this wonderful form of art.

After almost a year I tried this layout in photoshop.I tried the same subject in two 

different layout.

This digital version of scrapbooking  has got many advantages since you have

the "undo" option.Even the colors also you can change by a click of a button.Feeling blessed

with the outcome.

 This is the original photo of my nephews.

Aren"t they looking cute and mischivous?

E- CARD

Hello everyone,
This  year is coming to an end  it is time for partying and catching with friends.I tried brushing up my photoshop skill to make a greeting card .I did follow a tutorial But instead of snow man I added Reindeer..

Snow flakes are added all around the canvas.

Each tree is drawn in different color and placed at different level.

I added a vector graphic of Reindeer in the middle  and transformed  and scaled to give the moving effect.

Like these, there are so many Cards  available for free downloads .But the fun of creating each one and assembling is really a wonderful experience.Which I wanted to share with my viewers.

Family photo frame

This is my first ever family scrapbook layout.I enjoyed creating this and editing the photographs.

22nd November2013  is  my little nephew's 1st birthday.It was a small gift for him  in the form of  a photoframe.
Which can be cherished to day  and always.

Digital scrapbooking

Today is my  nephew's Birthday it is very long time since I saw him.Thanks to technology You can create something out of digital scrapbooking and send it in a jiffy (though I didn't create it in jiffy) I struggled the whole day changing the background and layout till  I was satisfied which never comes easily. So now it is done I am happy atleast I could post something new in this blog.It has been long time since I posted after february.

Digital Layout

This layout was created using "star burst brushes" for the background

The frame and embellishment are added .

This is the final .I felt that I could have added some bright colors for the back ground.

Selective Color Technic

.Firstly the photo is converted to B/W and then colors are  painted using adjustment layer.spray paint brush are used for the edges

Cluster frame

Today is my niece(sister's daughter)'s Birthday .I thought of designing a 'cluster frame 'scrapbook layout for her. Since they lived abroad I have seen her only in  photographs ,I always felt that I missed the opportunity of seeing her grow.Today when I see her  mannerism  and body language(for eg:-raising her one "eyebrow",Her eyes shrinks almost becomes a thin line when she smiles) am convinced that I have not missed much since she is exact replica of  my sister when she was of her age.

Wish her good luck today and always  in all her Endeavours!

It has been a very long time I am posting as my programme was down and had to reinstall it that took more time  hence the delay.

This is an old photograph though  darker colors are added I am not happy with the clarity.I  still have a long way to go to achieve it.

This photo had been extracted from an invitation card.

Photoshop has lot of tools for extracting the main image from the background. This was done using"quick selection tool.

I was not satisfied with the first one.This one is floral cluster frame .Just adjusted the width of the main photo

Handmade scrap

This one is a premade page background from a scrapbooking kit.

I have stuck some hand made flowers to it.These pages are very gorgeous to look and preserve. I often feel quite  scared to use it or try any thing on it ,thinking I might spoil the look.This time I geared myself to face  it,without using digital brushes
